Sunday Afternoon
The surgeon came in about 15 minutes ago & told us basically what the other nurses & doctors said. The heart-lung bypass is in place & that procedure went well. Andrew will be closely monitored for the next day or two to determine what shape his brain & organs are in. They had to basically hook up everything they have been weening him off of for the past week. I apologize if Steve & I are 'unavailable' right now, but as you can imagine there is just so much we can process right now. Please keep praying fervently. We still hope in our God. Thank you so much for your love & support.

There aren't words to express what we are thinking and feeling for you guys. We love you very much and you are in our thoughts and prayers every moment. We wish there was something we could say/do to make it all ok. We will continue to cry out to God on yours and Andrew's behalf. All of our love.

We are extremely proud of the two of you. We returned from Live Oak tonight to read the latest and are available as needed. We love the three of you so much! Our hearts and prayers are with you. It weighs heavy on your dad's mind as he barely slept a wink before work tonight. He has been praying for the three of you... as have I.

We are praying hard for all three of you. Mickey prayed for the doctors, that they would know what to do for Andrew. Marisa prayed for the two of you, so you would know that God would make Andrew's heart feel better. We pray that God will keep his loving arms around you when we can't be there to hug you.
