Friday Afternoon

Well, honestly there is not much to tell. Sometimes we like it that way. Andrew is still holding steady; he got his feeding tube replaced today from a n-g tube (to his stomach) to a n-j tube (to his intestines). This is precautionary in case he does have reflux & it did contribute to Sunday's events. In some ways it's difficult to go through these things again when it seemed like we were so much further ahead a week ago, but mostly we are just so grateful to have a team who is determined to be extremely cautious with our son.
Andrew hasn't been very awake during my visits today, but I get the feeling he was this morning before we got in by the number of staff members who got a kick out of him looking at them. He focuses and tracks really well which is just about the cutest thing (as well as a good neurological sign at this time). Of course I'm probably a little biased, I hear moms usually are. Thank you all so much for the continued prayers & support. It is a blessing to hear from you via the comments, but also just to know you are out there & following along with our boy - it's a comfort. We are extremely blessed!

Andrew: I hope you know what a wonderful Mom & Dad you have. I have never met them but their hearts speak so loudly for you, precious child -they are definitely in love with their baby boy. Your Heavenly Father loves you and is already using your life to point others to HIM. My prayers are with you and your parents-Holy Father-touch this child as only YOU can. YOU, Father are Holy-touch
this precious baby boy-comfort him and Steve & Betsy-May they all feel your loving touch this very moment. Thank you Father-in Jesus name.
