Saturday morning

We have been up here for a while. Andrew is awake and fussing a bit. He tends to get worked up if we are too stimulating... you know...like.... looking at him too much, touching his head. I think the only thing that calms him down is when his Mom sings him songs. They are steadily increasing his feeds, incorporating the milk into the lipids and other stuff (glucose and proteins) little by little. He has been tolerating it pretty well. It will definitely be at least Monday before they get the Ventilator tube out, then we will hear him cry. Right now, he just makes faces, I think, if he could talk, he would be using very bad words. I am going to grab the camera from our room and get some video while he is so active... gimme an hour or so.

That boy of yours has moxie! When he's up to it, give him a sloppy kiss that only a great-grandma can give. The updates, pics and videos I pass on to her mean so much when she can't be there to love you all. Know that she is watching and praying, and loving you all through your journey. She has been strong for you during the dark times and grins like only she can for the wonderful progress he makes. Know also that Melissa and I are here for all of you, sending our love, and hoping for the chance to help you anyway we can.
Love,
Stacie
