Just So You Know

The sounds (quack) you hear are actually a good sign in Dizzy's case. The sound (quack) is air leaking around the ventilator tube. This is good (quack) because his oxygen saturation level remains stable even though air (quack) is getting in & out around the vent tube, It's a good "prognostic indicator" (or sign) that he will (quack) tolerate having the tube removed (once again). I was excited to see him initiating breaths here & (quack) there b/c they turned off the paralytic early this evening. (quack) This kid is too much fun!

i can't get the 3 of you out of my mind. for the first time since march, i have prayed like you wouldn't believe. i used to say "oh ok, i will have my mom pray for you..."
your little guy is a trooper and he is in my prayers, and everyone i know is praying as well.
i learned that God does have a plan for us all....
Bless you and your super trooper Andrew.

My wife works with Dawn at Parrish... she told me about Andrew yesterday... I passed this info on to our pastors, who in turn has passed it on to the church prayer chain... a lot of people are praying for Andrew, for God's will to be done with your son... we are praying for miracles to bring glory to the LORD! Take care and will continue to pray...

I knew he had a sense of humor! Instead of Dizzy, you may have to start calling him Duckie. Or better yet instead of Disco Duck he can be our little Dizzy Duck! :)
I love you Andrew,
Aunt Christy
That's right, your favorite (okay one of many favorites).

Don't let all the quacking put you in a "fowl" mood!! I "quack" myself up!

I just keep staring at the still frame of the beginning of the "Quack" video. You guys sure made an adorable baby. Even with all the stuff on and around him - he is just so cute. I just can't stop looking at him!! Thanks again for taking the time to put up all the pics and video. It means so much to us. When you go in next time, if you think of it, tell him his aunt, uncle and cousin love, love, love him.

Hi guys,
Sherry, John's sister wants to come visit today. Would you call John to let him know if that is okay or not. He will give you her #. He doesn't have yours.
