Ahh, it's good to be home

Been home since about 12:30pm. Took a while to get our internet up & going again (it's been storming here pretty often the past few weeks). He's doing great. We tried to keeping him still watching Cars, but he's off. That's our boy : )

Have patience, have patience...

Wasn't Katie just singing this song? So the MRI took forever, but we are thankful they are so careful with our precious boy. Both cardiac anesthesiologists were there to take him, reminds us of the old days. So he should be about 1/2 way through the echocardiogram. We'll let you know when we snatch him up.

Andrew just went back for the MRI. It should take about 30-40 minutes, then up for his echocardiogram.

Request

Just wanted to ask you all to keep Andrew in your prayers - tomorrow morning we are going to Arnold Palmer for routine MRI of his brain & Echocardiogram. We also arranged to have his G-tube button changed. His doctors have been so good to us to coordinate everything to limit the number of times Andrew has to be under sedation. I'm guessing he'll be out for about 2 hours or so. I'm sure he'll do great & the cardiac anesthesiologists take SUCH good care of him. We will take the computer with us so we can update when he goes back & when we retrieve him. Thanks!

Okay, For Real This Time?

The baby Katie & Landon are matched to adopt went ahead & was born today. We are waiting to hear the sex of the baby. (If it's a girl, I got this outfit for her to wear to Andrew's homecoming (pool) party - I couldn't help myself) Please vamp up your prayers for a smooth adoption. Katie & Landon are planning on heading over to Sarasota (where the baby was born) tomorrow.

Mischief!

So, I was doing laundry with Andrew next to me making music with the a/c grate & Daddy came in with something to tell me. Then Daddy said, hey where's Dizzy... that'll teach us to turn our backs for even a minute.

Praying for a Sweet Baby

As many of you know, Katie & Landon are matched to adopt a baby scheduled to be born TODAY! We are praying fervently for a safe delivery for baby & birth mom and for a successful adoption. Katie & Landon, we love you & think you're going to be awesome parents. Heck, you've already started the stressful part! 2pm UPDATE: No baby today. They doctors decided the bun should stay in the oven for 2 more weeks. The suspense!, but you don't want to undercook a baby ; )

Baby cousin?

Well, Andrew is very excited at the prospect of having a new baby cousin. His Aunt Katie & Uncle Landon just found out yesterday that they should expect a baby next week! (It makes more sense if you know they are adopting.) We are praying for a smooth delivery (C section) & smooth transition. See how Andrew just beams with pride?
