Happy Morning

So here's a taste of Andrew in the morning. He is so cheerful from the minute he wakes up. We went to the pediatrician yesterday & poor guy has an ear infection. Next time he needs to tell me! He had to get 2 shots AND get a finger stick to check his iron, which was fine. Needless to say he was not a fan of the doctor's office. Actually, he started yelling as soon as we walked into the exam room. He's a trooper though - when we got back to the car he looked at me, smiled and clapped his hands. (He loves his car seat). He is such a blessing!

Mama LOVES kisses!

Love it!!!

Also, Welcome Baby Matteo!! We love you!

All Done

I love chubby baby hands doing sign language. Andrew has been very vocal lately about his dislikes. Basically yelling at me when he doesn't want to do something. Here he didn't want to eat anymore. Of course, the next lesson will shortly follow, that when he says all done he doesn't necessarily get his way. Humm... One step at a time I guess. I'm also working on being serious when disciplining him. He is JUST like Steve. I'm pretty sure he knows I am a laugher, so when he does something he KNOWS he shouldn't he looks at me & tries to make me smile. Right now it pretty much works every time. Seriously, pray for me about this one or I'm going to have a much bigger problem very shortly.

Andrew has continued to eat between 2 & 4 oz of solids at meal time. WHOO-HOO!!! Thank you, Jesus! Hoping he does more & more so we can ditch that g-tube & go swimming at Aunt Becki's house this summer (I'm sure she'll let us : ).

News Flash

Just had to post that today at noon meal Andrew ate 4 oz solids & 3 oz milk - ALL BY MOUTH!!! We are praying this is the beginning of a new trend.

Golfers?

I figured I better put a picture up of Dizzy.
So, I wanted to put something up about The 4th Annual Emma's Miracle Golf Invitational, which is coming up April 19th. But, blogger will only let my post pictures so I couldn't upload the info in true format which leads me to the ridiculous pictures below. I do believe if you click on the photos they'll enlarge, but if you are interested in the info email me (betsygirl@hotmail.com) & I'll send you the Word document. [Put Emma's Miracle in the subject so I don't junk any unknown email addresses.]
In brief: Emma is another Precious Little Heart whose family has hosted this golf tournament since Emma was born to raise $ for Children's Miracle Network. The $ raised in Central Florida goes to benefit Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children & Shands Children's Hospital. If you golf, but the registration fee is too much, maybe do a little fund raiser (garage sale, etc) for the $ (& you still get to golf). If you work for or know of any companies interested in sponsorship, please give them the info. Also, donations are welcome for the silent auction. You get the idea. Thanks already to Family Drug Mart in PSJ (the best, says I) who already chose to sponsor. The economy isn't great, but kids still need access to excellent care, so that just means we have to get the word out to that many more individuals & companies. You can contact Shannon (Emma's mom) at Emmasmiracle@gmail.com with specific questions. As always, Thank you!

We Survived

Last night Vince & Sue had us over for brownies & ice cream (yum!) Anyway, it's chilly so Andrew had to make the treck (next door) in my jacket. [I put him in it again today when we took the dog out : )]
So, Andrew & Steve had the stomach flu this past weekend, which really stunk, but I am happy to report that we survived & both boys are on the mend. Not 100% yet, but much better. I'm very thankful Andrew handled it well physically, but he was also such a sweetheart. Here he is just hanging out watching a video. Doesn't he look SO big???
