Betsy,
Oh, that little boy looks like he is home when you're holding him! I'm sure that he is just as relaxed with Daddy, too! Just being held by the two of you will do wonders for his heart and his health.
We all continue to pray for you every day. I told Mickey & Marisa that when they go to school on Wednesday and are at Mass at 8:00a.m. that they could concentrate all of their prayers for Andrew, since he would be going through his surgery then.
Thanks for the video, Andrew is BEAUTIFUL. It just warms my heart to see him and to see Betsy holding him, well that is just all the better. Love you, Aunt Linda
What a sweet boy. Kiss him for his Aunt Lori & Aunt Amy... We wish we were not at work so that we could come hold him too. Doug was so happy to hear that Andrew was listening to his recording. He will give him free lessons anytime. We love you guys and thanks for the videos. Betsy you look wonderful, a sight for sore eyes. We love all of you. Amy & Lori
What a beautiful site! And there's nothing more healing/comforting than being in the arms of your parents! I still long for mine when I get the yuckies! :) I suppose I have yet to grow up! Loving and hugging all of you tight!
Ahh, he fits in there so well, Betsy. I can't believe you have a baby! And he's so beautiful (that part I'm not surprised about)! I can't believe we're old enough that you can have a baby, and I can sit here and think, wow, Betsy has a baby. I'm so proud of both of you. You are such wonderful parents!
A group of us went on a retreat this weekend. All of the ladies prayed for Andrew. It was so great to hear that you both can hold him now. That's so fine!
We will continue to pray, especially on Wednesday.
Did you hear that? Play the video again. He said he misses his Aunt Christy and would like to call her. I know he just got off restriction and just got his voice back, but can he start using the phone again?
The cold seems better - didn't feel sick at all (even went running). I'll keep in touch with you guys to see about a good day to visit. Give him big hugs for me (big but gentle).
Thank you Lord for arms to hold, hands to caress, eyes to behold the beauty of this precious baby!
Good Morning Steve, Betsy, and little Andrew. Steve- I don't know if you remember me, but I am Gina Lloyd's (now Peer) best friend from PSJ. Gina sent me a prayer request for little Andrew. He is just so precious! My husband Sam and I sat here this morning watching all the wonderful videos of your son. I just wanted you to know that my family is, and will continue to, pray for Andrew and your family. God formed Andrew in the womb and He can form his heart whole. I was listening to the book of Luke yesterday and was impacted by three words that Jesus spoke."I want to" Reading your story today, I hear the Lord speaking these words to you: Luke 5:12&13 In one of the villages, Jesus met a man with an advanced case of leprosy. When the man saw Jesus, he fell to the ground, face down in the dust, begging to be healed. "Lord," he said, "if you want to, you can make me well again." Jesus reached out and touched the man. "I want to," he said. "Be healed!" And instantly the leprosy disappeared. I thought to myself, wow, this is the character of God, and He want's to heal his children. I hope this word touches your hearts today. If you want to see who we are you can go to our myspace at myspace.com/kthirsch and request us as a friend.
I call Becki a lot to see how you all are doing, especially Andrew. I was just able to get back on the blog again as my grandmother passed away last week. Please know all of you are on my mind.
