Thursday

Hi everybody. Just a quick update. Andrew's belly still seems to be bothering him, but he is much better today than yesterday as far as discomfort. The current plans for belly / feeding is to let his stoma (hole in his stomach for g-tube) heal for another week, then begin dialating it so they can place a g-j tube (will go through his stoma & feed through to his intestines). This dosn't mean that he won't be able to have food in his belly ever, it's just that for now it's causing more problems & Andrew has enough on his plate (I think!). On a positive note, he got to go outside today with his Daddy for the first time. After he was born he rode over here before sunrise so he's literally never been in the sun until today. Unfortunately he wasn't down with the wagon ride & insisted on being held (I'm sure Steve minded terribly) so we don't have any pictures since Steve only has so many hands. I am looking foward to taking a turn getting him out of here a little bit tomorrow. Thanks for the continued prayers. I know they make all the difference!

You'll enjoy... I was catching up on what's going on with Dizzy and I checked your profile out and because we're near the Flemish part of Belgium, Google is automatically set to Flemish so everything on your page (except your posts) are in Flemish and this is what it says under your profile picture: Gebruikersstatistieken
I have no clue what it means, but it's fun to try and say. Oh, I guess I should tell you that Keith is TDY = far away for a while, and I have no idea how to change it to English but I'm getting used to it.

Anyway, I miss you guys and I can't wait to meet Dizzy. He's adorable and you two look great. Take care. You're in my prayers.

Thank you for the internet. Now that I am home, it is such a joy to get to read about you three. I missed all the postings while I was in New Orleans.
I think "Z" would have enjoyed the music. The town has done an amazing job recovering from Katrina, but still needs more healing.
Lots of Love to "Z", Steve, and Betsy! I pray for God's healing hand for you and all who have a need for him, including Z's caregivers.
