Good Friday
Hi everybody. Just wanted to let you know how Andrew is doing today. He did not get his g-tube site dilated today - sorry for the miscommunication, it wasn't scheduled for today. The general surgeons wanted to move kinda slow & cautious after the small bowel obstruction last week. Thank you again for the prayers regarding that. I'm so grateful that we dodged that surgery last Saturday. I did ask the cardiac team this morning if they had heard from surgery lately on any plans for the dilation, they hadn't, but they are going to try to get in touch with them so maybe we'll have an idea in the next few days. We'll let you know when we hear. Andrew will be 3 months old on Sunday (hurray!) & I'm hoping he will be well enough to have his next heart surgery by the time he's 4 months old (it's typically done between 4-6 months). So I'm a little anxious for things to keep moving along, but of course we know all things have to happen in Andrew's time.
