Monday

Well another Monday. Andrew is doing okay. His belly has been pretty upset the past few days, but I'm hoping that is subsiding now. He is sleeping away right now. They did schedule him to have his dilation done for his g-tube tomorrow morning. I think he is supposed to be the first case of the day so he'll go in around 7 am. We are also hoping to find out soon an idea of when they'd like to do his next heart surgery. One of the doctors here said they will begin talking about it this week. So the prayers are for his procedure to go well tomorrow and the week after with the new feeding tube placement - hopefully working out his belly issues. And also to give the doctors wisdom in deciding when to go ahead with his 2nd heart surgery. We are definitely itching to go home so we are eager for everything to go smoothly for the weeks ahead. Thanks for you tireless prayers & support. I'll try to post more regularly, but definitely whenever we get new updates.

We'll be praying...in general and in the morning around 7am.

Andrew, thanks for loving on your uncle Richie...it made it easier for him to be away from Kalee! I am so jealous!

God love the little one! I went up for healing in Andrew's place at church yesterday. Please know that there is lots of love coming from your church family. I will be praying for you all tommorrow, grandson, son, daughter-in-law, sugeons, nurses, and other care givers, and anyone else in need. It's overwhelming sometimes knowing how many people need prayer. I am sure you see that.
I am making Richard go to the doctor tommorrow afternoon, still coughing. Be sweet.
Love, Dawn

That's enough! Come home! There are so many folks waiting to meet Andrew. We miss you guys and love you very much. It's hard not to get frustrated with God sometimes. We've got big plans for that little guy and it's hard playing with him from here! Okay, I've said it, now I'll go pray and thank God that we're still planning to bring Andrew home and for the blessings of amazing people, some of whom I met tonight who don't know Betsy, Steve or Andrew but are busy planning a fund raiser for them....oh okay God, I got it, you know what you're doing. Just read a really neat prayer that someone sent me several weeks ago and I just got around to today. It must have been his timing because it helped. It says, "May today there be peace within. May you trust God that you are exactly where you are meant to be. May you not forget the infinite possibilities that are born of faith. May you use those gifts that you have received, & pass on the love that has been given to you. May you be content knowing you are a child of God. Let this presence settle in your bones & allow your soul the freedom to sing, dance, praise & love. It is there for each & every one of us."
How timely. I will however reserve the right to complain, then again be humbled.
Thanks Betsy and Steve for your faithfulness to us who love you and Andrew.
I love you,
Christy
