Sunday Afternoon

Today is another good day for Dizzy. We have already taken him outside twice today... he loves the fresh air. They went down on one of his Meds again, which is always good. the more and more he can do on his own the better. There is not a lot to say, medically speaking, he is just slow and steady right now. They didn't go through with the procedure on Friday, the Dr. just told us today maybe Mon. Still no real idea on when we might look to come home.
It's really strange being here still. When there are no pressing medical issues (which we are so thankful for) it feels like time slows down... I feel like I get more restless or homesick. Today is Dizzy's 3 mo. b-day. It's hard to believe we've been here for three months. But what really matters is that he is here - where he needs to be, and years down the road we'll scoff at 3 months time.... it's always shorter, or faster, when it's in the past. Well, I guess we will talk to you all later. Thanks for the prayers, thoughts, and support....

Two outings in one day is a Great Easter Sunday! Fresh air is so much better than inside air. Maybe Z can dab a few daylillies with Grandpa Richard. Nothing would tickle him more, and Grandma Mimi too! It really must be hard for you all to live out of someplace you don't call home. We hope you realize how much we all think of you. Call us if you need a visit and we will come over after work. Just know that Grandpa Richard is fighting a cold today, so we won't be able to come today. We love you! Dad and Dawn

Andrew remains on our parish prayer list as he has since he went to Orlando. This means that every week his named is mentioned at every Mass at Our Lady of Hope. This Sunday (Easter) about 5000 people attended. Many of them asked me about Andrew and promised to keep praying. AND this is just one Church community. Lot's of prayers being said for that little guy. We trust that he will be well one day.
