Wed

Andrew is still doing very well. He had an appointment with his cardiologist yesterday that went well as far as his health staying stable, but wasn't good in that he cried the whole time. He didn't even perk up to visit his friends at the CVICU. It all started with an abnormally high changing table at the clinic. Seriously, I had to stand on my tip toes to reach him & I think it freaked him out. It was all downhill from there. They wanted to do crazy things like listen to his heart & weigh him on a scale; the nerve of some people! So on the way home he pooped all over his car seat - a bonus for Mommy & Daddy, and then he stayed awake for the most part until about midnight. He wasn't too fussy - though a bit clingy to us. He is a funny kid! Steve & I are really enjoying being his parents.
Also, we can't forget our eldest, Tusk, who finally decided the water isn't so bad. We tried to get him to like it from the time he was little, but he was always afraid. Now look at our big boy - standing on the steps (he won't go any further : ). Still, we are proud of him.

How cute. I'm glad to see he's learning how to stick out his tongue so early! :p

Wait, Andrew was in the CVICU and I wasn't there to see him? :( Bummer. We miss him (all of you) so much but it makes me so happy to be able to peek here and see how well he is doing. You all deserve every moment of this happiness. (the poopy car seats, too!) Allysa
