Andrew is has picked up his peeing over the course of the night, but they still are looking for higher output...that's ok though.... babysteps. They took him off the paralytic drug just an hour or so ago in the hopes that he'll squirm around a bit and get the juices flowing, but that could take up to 6 hours to wear off. They definately won't be closing his chest today, but they are determined to do it tomorrow if possible. The longer it remains open, the more opportunity for infection. But he's just got to pee more. All his other vitals look good for where he's at. They are continuing to ween him off various drugs, but that is all contingent on his fluids.
We were taken out to dinner last night by some good friends and treated to hibachi (one of my favorites) George and Wendy and Matt and Lori. It was nice hanging out with you guys. Wendy promised to have sushi (one of Bess' favorites) in celebration of Andrew coming home. Now it's in writing for everyone to see. So, today may be slow as far as progress goes, but I will try to update as much as I can. It hasn't become cliche` yet: THANK YOU FOR YOUR PRAYERS, PLEASE KEEP THEM GOING. Talk to you all later
PS: I published the comments given so far, I think I did it right, Thanks for all the support, Bess and I enjoy reading them.

Was wondering if "Dizzy" was going to be his nickname when he gets into the UFC?
Can you please explain the nickname Dizzy? We love nicknames, but we don't get this one. Fill us in!
Love, Tranthams and all
Just wanted to let you know that all three of you are in our daily, hourly, and "whenever we think of you" prayers. Andrew is so beautiful and he is a strong little guy. We've been following your blog since June and we have all been excited for the three of you. We're so thankful for Andrew's progress and we will thank God right now for his recovery!
We Love you,
Mike, Jennifer, Mickey & Marisa
