Monday

Quick update. Andrew is still doing about the same. He weighs 8 lbs 6 ozs now. 3.81 kg this morning. It was a little higher a couple days ago, but that was a huge jump from the day before, so we think something else might have snuck its way in the bed with him when he was weighed. So his weight is still steadly increasing - hurray! They also stopped the antibiotics as the cultures came back negative - also hurray! AND he has been tolerating the weaning off of pain & sedative medications & could possibly be off of them altogether sometime this week - hurray again! They are looking at taking him for the cardiac cath on Wednesday. We will let you know details as we get them. Thanks for your continued support. Please pray for a good report from the cath on Wednesday.

We will just believe for a week of continued good news! What a strong little boy...of course, we already knew that! Just so happy to read the blog today.

And, how about that Superbowl??? Did Andrew especially enjoy the last 40 or so seconds??? Ok...did he at least enjoy the commercials?

I'm so glad Andrew is gaining weight and doing well. It's wonderful that you guys have gotten to play with him and see him smile so much. We're praying for you and thinking of you everyday. Love to you all.

Hi Pages,

i just got back from NC. I am glad Andrew is having another good day. I had planned on coming by before going to PSJ but I have no voice. I mean NO voice. I'm not feeling badly, but I don't want to take a chance, sooo, give each other kisses for me. I came home bearing gifts from your Aunts and Uncles. Everyone sends their love and prayers. I love you

Steve and Betsy:

We were showing Shannon and little Ryan the videos of Andrew tonight. Little Ryan said that he was little like Andrew too. Ryan is now 3. We will be praying for Andrew on Wednesday. He is a strong little guy. He smiles even though he is hooked up with tubes and machines.

Take care,

Emily and Theresa

I really wish I could come tomorrow to be there when Andrew has his cardiac cath. I will be praying so hard. Please call me as soon as you hear from the docs. I am beginning to get my voice back, but he cold has really set in so it will be a while until I can get there again. I love you so much. Mom

Tomorrow's a big day. Know that Mikala and I have been praying for all three of you throughout the day (every day). Mikala is very faithful about remembering to pray and watching the videos.
We love you!
