a good day
Well shame on us for not having the cameras with us. I was surprised to be able to come in & see Andrew only 30-45 minutes after speaking with the doctor in the waiting room. I was even more surprised to find Andrew awake & squirming around as if nothing had happened. They were able to extubate him right away & he dosn't have any extra 'lines'. He looks great! We took a picture with Steve's phone that we will post later. Now he just needs to settle humself down & go to sleep. He's been awake a good deal of the day. They will start his feeding tube back up this evening. It is possible that Andrew will have his stomach surgery sometime next week. We will let you all know if & when as soon as we find out.

Glad to hear they extubated him quickly...hopefully they didn't do anything to squelch all the talking he's been doing lately! Love it, love it, love it!!!

Smart Boy! He just knows how to do all this now and doesn't need so much time anymore. I'm thankful that he is responding so well. He was probably glad to see Mommy and Daddy.

It is a blessing to hear that the cath went well. I keep praying for the caregivers there at AP. Surgery is always scary, so I pray for both of you also. I know God is with Z.

We prayed as a church family last night for you guys and baby Andrew. Please add 3 year old Danielle Marple to your prayer list (danielle.lifesavior.cc). Her mom and dad are up at Shands and have been told she has little time (I think you may have met Will and Kerri at our fellowship one time).
You and Betsy are awesome and so is little trooper Andrew.

God has such an amazing plan for little Andrew's life. He is going to have a wonderful testimony :-)
I'm glad he's so squirmy and awake! He's probably thinking "Hey guys i just wanna play!"
