Posting from home!

Just a quick post. Andrew came home with us yesterday afternoon. It has been a very busy 24 hours, but very good! Andrew is doing well. Still grumpy from the teeth (& I think getting used to his new home - wondering where all his friends are from the CVICU). We did get a couple videos which I will put up as soon as I can. Thank you all so much for everything! Definitely a dream come true. Even when he was waking us up crying every 45 minutes last night Steve & I couldn't help but smile & giggle at each other. What a precious gift that boy is!

WOW I am so happy for you both. This day has been a long time coming for your whole family. I am so glad to hear that Andrew is doing good and it will be exciting to see his little teeth poking through and give him some relief. (and you some too)Congratulations on being such wonderful parents. Does he still have to go on any special machines at home? Is he still hooked up to anything?

Well, his friends from the CVICU were thinking about him, too! We talked about you and thought about you so many times Tuesday night. At 10:30pm it was time for Andrew to be working his way to sleep. His room stood empty. We were giddy with the thought of him at home in his room with mom and dad. Around 5:30-6am, I looked at the monitor, it seemed to be time for Steve to come give him a kiss before leaving for work.

We are missing you ALL but are so happy you are together.

Welcome home, Andrew! How very exciting. :)

Bets - My dad wanted me to let you know that he's keeping you, Steve, and Andrew in his daily prayers. I told him last night that this was Andrew's homecoming week - he was overjoyed!

Hugs and love,
Jules
