Sunday Night

Well, the paralytic wore off & Andrew has stayed calm so right now it looks like he will be able to keep it off. Right before we went to dinner (Thanks Matt & Lori!!!) he woke up & looked at us, which was awesome after a week of being completely sedated (except for the couple times he woke up to make a statement). Right now he is resting peacefully with little wiggles here & there &, to daddy's extreme pleasure, holding Steve's finger. Sure makes you appreciate each little thing. Can't imagine that we could love this kid any more!

What a beautiful picture. We're still praying and hopeful that you'll be coming home with Andrew before too much longer. We just love him so much. I thank God for the blessings of sibling arguments, fussy kids and midnight visits because of bad dreams because for me it means life must be pretty darn good. I pray for those type of frustrations for you as well.
May God continue to bless you both as Mommy and Daddy and husband and wife! We love all three of you! Have a blessed and peaceful week,
Christy, Nimish, Steven, Tony, Bailey (Bailey remains extra sensitive regarding Andrew), Lexi and Hannah-Marie

Can't imagine that MY kid could be loved more either! I'm so glad you had some response from Andrew. THat must have just given you a little boost. Even with all the "stuff" taped to him and being puffy, he is just beautiful. Daddy seems happy to be able to snuggle some. Thanks for sending the picture.

Happy belated 4 months old Andrew! I can see how your Mommy and Daddy have fallen in love with you :o)

I just wanted to say to all of you that you are in my prayers and I pray Andrew will overcome this challenge and be able to place many more smiles on his proud parents faces! I just was given this blog to check on Andrew (from church), so I am alitle behind on my reading... but I have to admit I have laughed and cried reading the updates. Being a mother I can not imagine the strength one must have to overcome this challenge but you both are very strong and are surrounded by much love. God and his angels are watching over you all! Andrew get stronger little guy :o)

God Bless,
Karen Trujillo ( from church)
