25 Weeks

So here is my belly at 25 weeks. I can feel Andrew moving around quite a bit, which always makes me giggle.

Here is Big Brother. Tusk will be just about 2 years old when the baby is born. We love him to death & think he will be a great dog for a boy to grow up with.

21 week belly

So here is my belly at 21 weeks. I have a cold right now which pretty much stinks, but other than that everything is going well. Steve is working away at finishing up the back room (closing in the back porch) to allow more living space. Then we'll be working on the baby's room. Fun!

It's a boy! Steve & I got to see our little boy yesterday & we are smitten. Here are some of the pictures. What a cutie!

He wasn't terribly cooperative in displaying his gender, but right at the end he gave us a few shots. We had a feeling it was a boy, but we really wanted to know for sure.

Everything's going good

I went to the doctor again yesterday & got a chance to hear the heartbeat. Of course, I thought it was about the cutest thing ever. Everything so far looks good as far as heart rate and size of my uterus. I am showing a bit for only being 14 weeks along. They tease me at work that I am having twins. We should get to see the baby with another ultrasound in about a month. We are looking forward to finding out if it's a boy / girl. I will definitely post the picture.

I figured I had better post our baby's first picture. I am just a few days over 7 weeks pregnant here. The arrow is pointing to the heart. The baby was just right in terms of size & heart rate for how far along Dr Ivery & I figured I was. I couldn't stop smiling at the little heart beat. Steve & I both look forward to seeing the baby again in a few months.

So a friend of mine had a blogger page to keep friends and family up to date with the baby they were expecting & I thought it was a great idea, so I naturally copied it :) Probably postings will become more frequent in a few months as I am only 2 months along right now. Even at this early point it has been wonderful to be surrounded by all the love and excitement about our little one. I am praying everything goes well & appreciate your prayers as well so we can introduce our new sweetheart at the end of the year (literally, I am due 12/31/07). All very exciting!
