MRI Echo Cardiogram Results

Bess received a call from the Docs; it looks like the MRI is 'normal' (for Dizzy) and the Echo looks really good. The Dr even sounded happy about it! He says that we just need to see him in another 6mo. for a check-up, but he doesn't feel we need to take any measures medically at this point - which is great. Thank You Lord for the great report.

Home from MRI/Echo

Andrew & I got home about 11 am. He's still a little unsteady on his feet, but happy watching Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs. He even managed to get into a little mischief already : ) He did awesome! Very glad that we have the opportunity to visit APH & the cardiac staff every couple months b/c I'm sure it helps to be in a familiar place with friendly faces. Thanks Aunt Becki for waking up super early to come with us. We'll let everyone know when we get results in about a week.

Dizzy; MRI and Echo

I'm at work, but Bess can't get the laptop working, so she relayed this info to me:
Dizzy is in the midst of his MRI right now. He will have his Echo cardiogram right after. They have to put him under for both these procedures, which is why they schedule them together. Bess said he did really good when they went to put him under, which is a relief- it's horrible having to watch him freak out and look at you like, "Why are you letting this happen Mommy/Daddy?!" He's getting to be such a big boy, just like his daddy....I'm just a big boy. Thank you for the prayers.

FYI: Andrew has his annual echocardiogram & brain MRI scheduled for next Tuesday (6/22) morning. Prayers are appreciated as they have to put him under, which he hates but he won't cooperate otherwise, so it's a necessary evil. Praying he won't be too scarred when he goes under anesthesia & expecting good results with the hopes that this will be the only time he has to be sedated for another year.

We were a little disappointed that our plan for Homecoming party poolside was mainly indoors due to rain, but the kids made the most of the break in the weather as you can see. Hard to believe it's been 2 years since we brought our sweet boy home from the hospital. We are so thankful for the awesome health Andrew's had! Such a blessing, that boy!

Mommy & Dizzy had fun with Aunt Katie & Isaiah last Thursday for a beach date. Andrew is doing much better with his younger cousin now that it's clear that Isaiah has his own mommy & won't be stealing Andrew's : )

Two weeks earlier, Andrew's Grammie T & Kalee were down & we took a morning trip to the beach. This is when Andrew decided he LOVED the beach. Particularly the ocean. If I put him down, he runs straight to the water & only wants to be held when he can't go any deeper.
